A beautiful day for running errands downtown, especially when the path takes us by Carl's Steaks. This Chambers St location is a bit nicer to dine-in than the Third Ave one we were at last year, or at least there is more seating anyway. We were tempted by The Works but decided classic cheesesteak with cheez whiz and grilled onions was the way to go. If you got a jonsing but can't make it to Philly, Carl's Steaks seems like a good option to my untutored palette.
