When a summer day magically appears in April, there is no question where we can be found for lunch - sandwiches in the park! Sadly our go-to spot for bánh mì (Vietnamese sandwiches), Bánh Mì Số 1, was closed for renovation, uh oh, hope it's not serious. Instead we wandered further down south to Paris Sandwich. It was hmm, ok. The fillings were slightly too sweet, making this banh mi newcomer nothing to write home about.

what about Saigon on Mott and Grand? best ouf t=of the three! (but closed on Mondays)
Is it still there? We haven't been in ages, but best out of the 3 is a good recommendation. We'll have to try again.
If you two ever come down to new orleans we have a bunch of good, cheap banh mi sandwiches around here.
like, $2.50 for a sandwich cheap.
$2.50 cheap is cheap! Maybe it would offset our travel costs hehe.
