We'd never been to the Nolita House before, so of course we decide to try even though it's a standard lunch fare menu of salads, sandwiches and soups. The atmosphere is unremarkable but it's nice to be on the second floor away from the direct noise and dirt of the street. The more interesting part of lunch was talking ideas and imagining new restaurant schemes with Brian, a long time hospitality consultant. He's chock full of thoughts on how restaurants can be reconceptualized and we're going to help him visualize those ideas.
