Joe Jr.'s is one of our favorite downtown diners. For years we've been going for breakfast since the french toast is the closest we've found in NYC to replace our preferred breakfast spot, Deluca's in Pittsburgh. We found out today that their lunch menu ain't bad either. Not necessarily authentic, the philly cheese steak and the gyro sandwich we had were still tasty enough in their own right.
