When we first moved to the city we fell in love with Claude for his delectably authentic French croissants. Then we discovered his apple tart. Today we adore him for his apricot tart and his generosity. A forgotten wallet is no impediment to true love. A quick wink and a brief smile as he casually says, "pay me back later. Take this." As if we needed another reason to love Claude's.
