Despana

03-19 Despana
It's too cold, rainy and gray to wander around for lunch today so we pop over to our local Spanish fine foods purveyor, Despana. It looks like they've expanded their offerings to include more tapas (cod croquettes!) and some salads too. Waiting for the food to come up is a delight because throughout the space little samplers are set up. Often there are 4 different cheeses, 3 types of olive oil, 3 or 4 olives and an assortment of other nibbles to choose from. The only downside is that when the bread is not perfectly fresh the sandwiches become a little tough to eat.
