Le Jardin Bistro, with many friends

07-17 Le Jardin Bistro
It was almost too hot to be eating outdoors but when Souris's in town, it doesn't matter what the season is like - it's always good times. Especially when our Jardin Bistro lunch encompasses a film maker, one tongue in cheek crime fighter, one soon to be first grader, a recent audio book reader, the owner of the best dog ever and lunch's raison d'etre, Team HP. Whoever selected the chilled poached salmon special won for best lunch pick. Those of us who ordered steak frites and ham and mushroom omelettes were not as pleased. Wouldn't it be nice if outdoor garden restaurants had a summer menu that consisted of only chilled entrees and salads?
