Hampton Chutney

Did you know that the slightly sour taste of the crepe-like dosa comes from fermenting the rice and black lentil mixture over night (much like sourdough bread)? No, we didn't either. Hampton Chutney makes pretty nice, crispy-on-the-edges dosas - even if their fillings are not exactly traditional ones. The sourness adds a little something extra to the wrap. But until we have the Dosa Man's dosas, we will have to refrain from making any real judgement calls.
