4:00pm carrot cake

02-10 carrot cake with dulce de leche creme
This might possibly be the most delicious carrot cake we've tried in a long while. The cake was rich and moist with a dulce de leche creme frosting that added just the right amount of luxe. Pichet's signature combination of sweet and salty flavors works perfectly here.
Village Tart, 86 Kenmare St, NY, NY 10012 (at Mulberry)

There's nowhere to leave you a comment on your Foodspotting profile that I could find, but I wanted to tell you that the Schnitz Burger is definitely worth it! It's not the BEST burger I've ever had, but I really can't complain about breaded beef. I just love the novelty and the I-can't-believe-how-bad-for-me-this-is of it. Plus, the bread it's served on is a treat in itself.

I posted a review of it today, actually, if you care to read: http://www.donuts4dinner.com/2010/02/11/restaurant-review-schnitzel-things-street-food-truck/
