A bit of an indulgent lunch this fine Tuesday at Caffe Falai. Indulgent on all fronts, starting with the slow, languid service from the verrry Italian waiters to the 2-course lunch prix fixe and ending with a tab that could have fed 4 in Chinatown. But then again we wouldn't have enjoyed such a lovely frisee salad, one of the nicest I've had in awhile. Not to mention my favorite, perfectly proportioned tortellini bolognese.
