Shanghai Cafe

One of those days when neither of us had any particular craving whatsoever. We headed out anyway, procrastinated first by going to the bank, and then ended up on the street corner, staring at each other blankly, waiting for inspiration. It never came but we found our feet heading east for soup dumplings and mapo tofu. Mapo tofu is not on our list of usual eats at Shanghai Cafe, but we were not at all surprised to find it held up to our exacting standards of decent lunches.
