Congee, with Hong

05-16 Congee
Looks like the magnificent spring weather from last week has departed and left us with blah instead. Which is also a good excuse for congee and salt baked shredded squid. The congee at Congee was ok, not as good as our memories, but then again we were trying to impress Hong with all the fabulous new discoveries we've made since she's been away. Too much hype, not enough substance. Though the squid lived up to expectations by being extremely addictive. The saltiness combined with cashews made us yearn for beer.
