M. picked up a doughnut from the Irving Farm Coffee this morning that originally came from Pies 'n' Thighs. By the time we had it for afternoon dessert, the doughnut was so incredibly dry we could barely finish it. But underneath the dryness we could tell this doughnut would have been magnificent at prime freshness.
