Olive's

04-09 Olive's

Whenever we pass by Olive's we do wonder why we almost never go there (aside from the fact they have no seating). Well, after today's lunch, I am painfully reminded of why. We know it's expensive, but it's really not affordable. For 1/2 today's special sandwich (which today was smoked turkey w/ cheddar, lettuce tomato avocado and mayo on 7 grain) and soup (roasted tomato) combo, it's $12, $13 with tax.
This would be okay if the I could split this with someone, but it's barely enough food for me alone. I'll admit the quality of the ingredients is top notch, and it was really rather tasty, but I'm not sure I can justify a take out lunch for this price.

Isn't it funny when you see a picture of food and you can just imagine the squish of the thing between your teeth? Amazing. I could totally sink my chompers into this sandwich.
