Epistrophy Cafe, with Lauren

It's so funny how you can work mere blocks away from a friend and never, ever see her in the neighborhood, meanwhile running into the most random strangers otherwise. Lauren is part of our greater social circle so we've drank together, eaten meals in large groups together and even spent a weekend in Shelter Island together, but we've never met for lunch before. Epistrophy was a bit louder than I expected for lunch, but still the perfect place to meet an old/new friend.
