4:10pm peanut butter cookies

There is a moment in the early evening when the setting sun pours in through the window, past the drawn solar shade, landing exactly on bare skin. It evokes the heat of beaches and summer and I often think I should be listening to the repetitive sound of waves instead of the incessant drone of the AC.
