Parigot

09-05 Parigot
When Y learned of our impending vegetarian dinner tonight, she exclaimed that she needed meat for lunch. I, who probably leans towards vegetarian dinners when at home, had no such impulse but as usual obliged to her cravings. Parigot is not the place you go for a cheap lunch, but it is the place you go for a  relaxed, civilized and decent lunch, where the mood is decidedly more European than New York City. It never wows, but never disappoints either. Last time we spotted Clive Owen, which was an extra treat. Better than our last's week's Adrian Grenier sighting in our opinion.
Parigot, 155 Grand St, NY, NY 10013 (at Lafayette)
