Yesterday was one of those holiday-not-holidays which really means if you're an architect, you're working and marveling in the quietness of the day. Over our biennial lunch with Liz and Peter at 15 East we confessed how nice it was to actually work, draw and think done without phone calls and emails to distract. We also eliminated the need for any additional decision making by opting for the prix fixe menu, all 4 of us. We had differing opinions on the starter course but all picked the sushi plate for a main dish. Every bite was heavenly.
