Listen, if you're outside right now and the wind is whipping in your face and the wet snow biting into your skin, turn around and walk backwards. On the short walk to Hill Country Chicken I whimpered into the cutting wind as umbrellas broke apart in front of us. When we left, our backs to the wind, it felt like a normal wintery day. Today's second tip is not to be distracted by the "skinless" description of Mama El's fried chicken. It's actually quite good.
