In brief: When it's not crowded (lunch) it's one of the best pubs in the city. The frankfurters are not to be missed, but otherwise it's not really about the food here.

We just had a Chinatown cheap lunch at Old Town. $7 each! Admittedly it was a light lunch and perhaps not the most filling for the heavier eaters out there, but the double frankfurter plate with a side of fries was a perfectly lovely size for the two of us. It is near on impossible to resist an Old Town hot dog. The buttered bun slays me every time.
