In brief: Cho Dang Gol looks like every other Korean restaurant in Ktown, but their tofu really is quite good.

We rarely make it past 32nd St for Korean; the extra three blocks through busy Herald Square make the walk a little too long and hectic for regular lunch eating. Midway through a delicious meal of tofu stew and a seafood pancake, some friends walked in the door. Specifically a Korean friend for whom Cho Dang Gol is her regular go-to spot for Korean tofu stews. Which is just confirmation of that what we already suspected - the extra three blocks walk might very well be worth it.
