In brief: A rooftop garden tucked in a back courtyard on the third floor of Le Pain Quotidien is probably nicer at night with twinkle lights than during the day yearning for sunlight.

The food at Le Pain Quotidien is just fine, nothing too terribly interesting or deep. I did enjoy the vegan kale caesar salad today, a nice variation on the usual.
