In brief: The jambon guyere sandwich from Maison Kayser is my most preferred sandwich for eating on the go. It's tidy, it's tasty, it's terrific.

Though the day is beautiful and perfectly spring like, we had a working lunch going through the interiors and exhibitions entries for the Core 77 Design Awards. The jambon guyere sandwich is really great for that kind of lunch, it can be eaten with one hand almost without looking because each bite is so consistently layered.
