In brief: When the service is so bad it outweighs the very good food and the very nice decor, makes you think twice about going back.

We picked all'onda for the biennial lunch with Liz and Peter because it's new and looked pretty. Certainly the interior is very nice; rustic elements combined with refined metals in a way that we architects appreciated. The food worked too, we each enjoyed a raw fish appetizer and pasta entree. What did not work whatsoever was the terrible service. Long lag times between all moments of the meal including many pointed looks from me to the waitress. The lunch dragged on so long that we actually had to forgo dessert.
