Central Buffet, lunch with Ray

06-14 Central Buffet, Inc.
There is no shortage of cheap Chinatown joints nearby, one of our go-to spots is the chinese buffet at Centre and Howard Streets. Technically named Central Buffet, it is always crowded but you can always get a seat. And for a mere $4 you get hot soup, white rice on styrofoam and your own selection of 4 entrees. The choices are limitless but it's better to stay away from typical Chinese-American dishes like General Tso's chicken or fried rice and go for the caramelized pork, omelet quarters, fried chicken, fava beans with scrambled eggs or any of the tofu dishes.
