Soba-ya Restaurant

Summertime is when cravings for cold soba run rampant. The closest source of good buckwheat noodles that we know of is Soba-ya in the East Village. It's a bit of a hike but the box lunch is worth it. A little of everything bento box served with a hefty plate of soba on the side makes for a yummy lazy long Friday lunch.
