La Esquina Cafe, with many friends

11-02 La Esquina11-02 La Esquina
As usual, Phi, Iridesco and 5-1/2 were great lunch company today at La Esquina. The sopa de tortilla kept us warm while the grilled ejotes (string beans) provided counterpoint to our conversations over tacos and tortas. Subjects matter covered today included: the nature of an Anthony Trollope novel, blog aggregators, world clocks and the amazingness of Maira Kalman.
Cafe de La Esquina, 106 Kenmare Street at Cleveland Place
