Spitzer's Corner

06-24 Spitzer's Corner
Taking advantage of a new project recon mission into the Lower East Side, we take a break at Spitzer's Corner for lunch. The space is lined with salvaged pickle barrels with horizontal glass and metal garage doors completing the look. It took forever for our meal to arrive, which can be particularly frustrating at lunchtime. The duck confit sandwich and signature "hickory short rib burger" were fine but we left wondering if there wasn't something else on the menu that was miles better.
