Salumeria Biellese

08-27 Salumeria Biellese
Faced with a neighborhood unfamiliar to us, we turn to our trusted friends at Serious Eats NY, specifically friend Alaina. She promptly wrote back with a variety of options covering everything from BBQ to Korean to Italian hoagies. Then after reading Ed's assessment of Salumeria Biellese nothing else would do but to try even if we knew we could never achieve more than a grade B lunch, not having the time to BYOB (bring our own bread), as per his suggestion. The place is old and time worn but friendly. As anticipated, the meatball hero needed more sauce and would have benefited tremendously from Ed's instructive "bring your own bread" advice - straight from the counter it was decent enough but nothing too special. I guess the lesson to be learned here is not to ignore Ed's advice, no matter the difficulty it might take you to achieve.

Haha, I don't know if they mash up spam into their meatballs... would be an interesting addition though.
