4:00pm plum galette

08-21 plum galette
These dark and luscious plums not only look stunning photographed against a black background but were the perfect (yes perfect) combination of sweet and tart. Summer day dessert yes. Thank you Ceci-cela.

That's the most fantastic plum galette you can ever find.
It's exactly like the one my grandmother would make.
I tried their palmieres (or however you say it) and they're also really good and relatively cheap.

Hi! I'm only just now getting in touch with you guys - my mom's friend Molly McCollam introduced me to your blog. I'm Rémy, I live in New Orleans (though I'll be a freshman at Brown in t-5 days), and I write my own food blog. I LOVE your dreamy pictures and short descriptions. Wanted to let you guys know that this gorgeous galette was the subject of a recent post... http://passionfruitbutter.com/2009/08/28/food-porn-friday-12/
Nice to meet you!
