Bo Ky

08-04 Bo Ky
Chinatown is a plethora of cheap eating and sometimes we'll just wander down there and stop at random. Today chance brings us to Bo Ky, a long time staple of the cheap Chinatown eating scene. It's rare to see so many permutations of the lesser known but oh so delicious Vietnamese soup, hu tieu but Bo Ky seems to have almost all of them. Although surprisingly they do not have my preferred version, the My Tho (dai). Over at Viet World Kitchen Andrea has a great write-up of the Cambodian influenced Nam Vang style - pictured above.

This is a great site and I really enjoy reading it. For a novice authentic Vietnamese food fan like myself who is just starting to enjoy bun, pho, Vietnamese bbq and the china town Vietnamese restaurants can you recommend a type of hu tieu to order from Bo Ky (prefer pork and innards) but am good with just about everything.

My favourite place in Chinatown! ^_^ It's the first place my parents go for a meal every time they come to NYC :)
