4:00pm donut

09-29 donut
After such a non-lunch lunch yesterday and a thoroughly disappointing one today, I needed something that I knew, with 100% certainty, would be good. For that I turn to Dreesen's doughnut. Unlike yeast donuts which quickly turn stale if left too long, the sugar coated Dreesen cake doughnut remains fresh all day long.

The last Dreesen's doughnut I ate had an aftertaste of rancid nut oil (I'm guessing they fry them in peanut oil) and I vowed not to eat another. Yours have been good?
