4:00pm doughnut holes

11-02 munchkins
It may seem counterintuitive to buy sugary sweets on your way back from the dentist, but when it comes to doughnuts, there is no counter to our intuition. The Donut Pub is one of those places that you hope will never go out of business, even with the Dunkin Donut a couple doors down. Y'all get on over there, and have a yourself a doughnut or three. The sugar, jelly and powdered bavarian creme are all recommended with gusto.
The Donut Pub, 203 W.14th St, NY, NY 10011 (near 7th Ave)

Never say no to a donut. Not that it's possible. Never say no to five or six donut holes. Even if it makes you wake up at 2 a.m. with a stomachache. Wish I could go to The Donut Pub. Up here in the Hudson Valley, it's apple cider donut season, and I've been quite indulgent...

i just went there for the first time a few months ago and loved it. especially excited that they had white on white cookies (i've never liked the chocolate part). a bit sweet but so good!
