Sophie's Cuban Cuisine

12-15 Sophies Cuban
We kid ourselves in thinking that this time of year should be nice and slow, with everyone's head in holiday party bliss (or hangovers). On the contrary, we are scrambling for every minute available with stress levels accelerating, but we must eat, or else... Take out from Sophie's - roast pork sandwich on top and the Cuban sandwich below. A bit heavy on the almost dry meat, but their spicy green sauce makes up for what it lacks.
Sophie's Cuban Cuisine, 805 Third Ave, New York , NY 10022 Lower Level Food Court (btwn 49th and 50th)

Sophie's is probably better, but have you tried Ground Support's in Soho? Not bad...$9.00, does not include chips or cookies.

Not yet, but it was on our radar, and now on the list with your recommendation!

It does look a little dry, so it the sauce on the side, or just not showing in the pic?

yeah, it doesn't show up in the photo, sorry.

I have got to try this place out. Maybe I just haven't been looking hard enough, but I've yet to have a decent Cuban sandwich in NY

The roast pork sandwich is better than the cuban.
