Continued from lunch... Readers may be surprised to find out that we both are people who could easily forgo the dessert at the end of the meal. Nonsense you say, but true it is! However, we also believe that desserts, when amazing, can elevate the status of a meal from really good, to truly memorable, and this is what we encountered at Del Posto today. The desserts were pretty fabulous all around - sweet, creamy, salty, crunchy, tart all perfectly poised. You could register everything separately but somehow they tasted like they were all meant to be one thing. Intrigued and jealous? You should be!
