Torrisi Italian Specialties

In a completely unprecedented move, we went back to Torrisi for lunch today. Craziness I know! Since we don't repeat lunches within a 2-3 month cycle, it's totally a rare event. But something about the way Ed Levine raved about the place and then our office-mate added to the clamor that had us thinking we just had to try the chicken parmesean hero and roast turkey. So we did. And they were great. Really great. It's clear the minds behind Torrisi are not just haphazardly throwing together a classic Italian-American hero nor are they serving some fancy pants interpretation. They are carefully and thoughtfully crafting each and every sandwich. Made with love for sure.
