Zampa, with Brian

04-15 Zampa
We are having a most delightful spring in my opinion. Warm days interspersed with cooler sunny ones, perfect days for lunching with friends in other neighborhoods. Even better when coincident with nearby work tasks. Brian already knew he wanted the chicken waldorf salad but M. and I wavered until the last minute when I happened to glance left and saw an attractive plating of poached salmon, green beans and salsa verde over a bed of organic lentils. Lucky for me it was not only prettily presented but quite delicious as well. The combination of tart tastes with the more moderate salmon on top of a background of lentils was just right for a spring day.
