4:28pm chocolate chip cookies

These little mini cookies from Stone Hill Barns, brought to us, and you, courtesy of some of my most thoughtful friends, reminded M. and I instantly of Cookie Crisps cereal, which came out in the late 70s. Neither M nor my parents ever bought them for us, but everyone else had parents who did. We didn't expect them to taste like mass market produced cereal, and they did not. They tasted like little bites of yum with an appealing hint of burnt edges.
