While Y is jaunting in Pavia, I am running around in a daze, knowing I have a lot of disparate things to take care of. Partly out of jealousy, and partly out of sheer convenience, I stop by Bottega Falai for one of their hot plate specials they have. The girl behind the counter seemed rather confused about the choices, but knew these were filled with potatoes. Sounded good enough to me. It wasn't anything special, but it was just filling enough, and neither here nor there, which is fine thing from time to time. I'm certain though that my other lunching half is eating better Italian food, and that's something I need to come to terms with.
