4:26pm sable cookies

I was looking for the delicious Hediard's shortbread cookies that my cousins brought from Paris, but could only find sable cookies from Sablesienne. Ha, what a tragedy, they are also quite delicious. Those French sure know how to make cookies. Today is a special return-from-vacation dessert, but tomorrow and beyond we will be lending our dessert eating dollars to local bakers and purveyors, anything to support the local peeps.
