Oxley's Carvery

06-09 Oxley's Carvery
What is up with the heat today?  We decided we didn't have much patience for a nice stroll, or potentially too hot or too cold restaurants.  Plus we wanted something quick.  Our original destination was Parisi but the line was out the door (as always), where Oxley's next door was devoid of any customers.  And we're pretty happy with our result.  We tried the turkey, pork loin and beef eye of round all in sandwich form.  The turkey sandwich came with stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce. And was perfectly moist and filling and tasty.  And by the time we paid for the food, Oxley's too had a small queue.

Someone tell Oxley's they need better bread. It's terrible!

Somehow, it didn't bother us this time (as if they had carved out some of the the roll innards, which I know they didn't), but yes, agreed.
